BirA biotin protein ligase is supplied in a 100 ug format. Applications include In vitro biotinylation of AviTag or biotin acceptor peptide tagged proteins, preparation of biotinylated proteins for streptavidin-based assays, ELISA, SPR, BLI, pull-down, AlphaScreen. The enzyme catalyzes site-specific covalent biotin attachment to AviTag-bearing proteins using biotin, ATP, and magnesium-containing reaction conditions.
