The Grainger Approved Black Pipe Nipple is made from carbon steel and has National Pipe Thread ends. It is available in sizes ranging from 1/8 inch to 2 inches diameter, and lengths from 1 inch to 12 inches. The nipple has a working pressure of 850 PSI at 70°F. It conforms to ASTM A733 and is for use in general purpose air, water, oil, natural gas and steam applications. The nipple is zinc coated for corrosion resistance.
