Description

A single use, sterile, and non-invasive device for use with venous blood collection procedures. Must be used in combination with blood collection devices that include a female luer feature.

• Single use device comprising of a polypropylene plastic holder, and an adapter with a female luer feature
• A stainless steel needle covered with a rubber sleeve is attached to the adapter and is house in the holder of the BTA device
• Needle stick issues are prevented due to a holder that encase the needle
• The sample collection tube is also housed within the holder to protect the user or healthcare personnel from direct contact with blood specimens
• Adapter allows connection to an interface device that provides collection of blood specimen into the blood collection tube that is inserted into the hollow of the holder of the BTA device
