Boc-N-Amido-PEG4-propargyl is a PEG-based PROTAC linker used in the synthesis of PROTACs. It is a click chemistry reagent containing an Alkyne group, capable of undergoing copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with molecules that have Azide groups. PROTACs themselves consist of two different ligands connected by a linker, one for an E3 ubiquitin ligase and the other for the target protein, and they degrade target proteins by exploiting the intracellular ubiquitin-proteasome system.
