It plays an important role in nanotechnology to produce nanotubes, which find applications in the aerospace industry. It is widely utilized in evaporator boats, nozzles for nonferrous metals, electric insulators in vacuum system, induction heating coil supports, crucibles and radar components and antenna windows and insulators for high temperature furnace.
