The WHEATON™ Borosilicate Glass Spinner Flask features an adjustable paddle blade impeller that does not protrude through the cap, ensuring a sterile design with greater turbulence for optimal suspension cell culture performance.

  • Bottom dimple on 125 mL and larger flasks prevents crushing and aggregation of cells
  • 500 mL and larger units feature 45 mm sidearms for use as convenient vents and ports
  • All flasks provide a headspace ratio of 1:1 or greater for maximum surface interface between culture and vessel atmosphere
  • Unit consists of borosilicate glass flask, PTFE and glass impeller assembly, and PTFE and silicone-lined cap
  • Entire unit is autoclavable
  • Optional replacement stainless steel shaft assemblies available for each vessel size
  • Sizes 125 mL to 1,000 mL graduated in 50 mL increments; 3,000 mL to 8,000 mL graduated in 500 mL increments; 25 mL and 50 mL are ungraduated
  • Suitable for microcarrier and suspension cultures including insect cells, hybridomas, and adapted cell lines
