Invitrogen™ Bovine TNF-alpha Recombinant Protein
Description
For dilution, use a buffer containing carrier protein, e.g. PBS with 1% BSA or a neutral media containing 10% FCS and freeze in aliquots at -70°C. Activity: The biological activity of recombinant bovine TNF alpha was measured in a cytotoxicity assay using L929 mouse fibrosarcoma cells. The ED50 for this effect is typically 5-8 ng/mL. Expression: The mature, soluble form of bovine TNFa was expressed in Pichia pastoris, KM71H and therefore does not have endotoxin. Reconstitute with 0.5 mL of distilled water.
