The Brownlee Spheri C18 ODS column contains a small-pore, silica-based sorbent for separating small molecules. The C18 is one of the least retentive reverse-phase in this family. This conventional Brownlee column (non-cartridge) uses standard compression end fittings compatible with all HPLC instrumentation and only requires a holder when used with a NewGuard cartridge. To couple a conventional column to a NewGuard cartridge, a NewGuard holder (07150001) is necessary.
