Brucella Agar Pour, 14mL in a 20×125mm screw cap tube, is an enriched nonselective medium formulated for the cultivation of fastidious and anaerobic microorganisms. Originally developed for the isolation of Brucella species, the nutrient rich formulation also supports the growth of clinically important anaerobes including Bacteroides, Clostridium, and Fusobacterium species. The medium can be supplemented with additives such as sheep blood, vitamin K₁, and hemin to enhance the recovery of strict anaerobic bacteria and improve overall growth performance. Each tube is pre poured and prepared under sterile manufacturing conditions to ensure consistency, ease of handling, and dependable laboratory performance. The convenient screw cap format helps maintain anaerobic conditions during incubation and transport. Supplied in packs of 10 tubes for routine microbiology testing.
