A pack of ten, batch control slides to be stained, scanned, and reviewed with experimental slides. Control slides contain a monolayer of buffy coat and spiked-in BT-474 cells (epithelial cells from human breast carcinoma). This control slide is used to assess the performance of the immunofluorescent staining process for the detection of CTCs. Cells may be identified by biomarkers: Nuclear DNA, CK/EpCAM, CD45, HER2 and ER.
