Description

Delivers compressed air through certified breathing air hose to workers wearing facemasks

RT Series Hood can be used for both Powered Air-Purifying Respirators (PAPR) and Supplied Air Respirators (SAR).

The RT Series Hoods are available in several configurations to meet most levels of disposability requirements. As with most Tychem hoods, the RT Series is available as a stand-alone replacement hood for those applications that allow for decontamination and reuse of the breathing tube. For single use applications, the RT Series is available fully assembled with a disposable lightweight breathing tube. Individually packaged with the breathing tube already attached, the user needs only to don the hood and connect the flow control device. After exiting from the area, the user may dispose of the complete assembly.
