Description

CA-074, also referenced under CAS 134448-10-5, modulates the biological activity of cathepsin B. This small molecule/inhibitor is primarily used for Protease Inhibitors applications.

An epoxysuccinyl peptide that acts as a potent, irreversible, and specific inhibitor of cathepsin B (IC50 = 2.24nM for rat liver cathepsin B). Reduces ischemia-induced neuronal death. Exhibits lower membrane permeability when compared to CA-074 Me (Cat. No. 205531).
