Description

The CBFβ Inhibitor, also referenced under CAS 493028-20-9, controls the biological activity of CBFβ.

A cell-permeable thiazolyl compound that binds to CBFβ (core binding factor β) and allosterically disrupts CBFα/Runx1 binding to CBFβ both in cell-free binding studies (IC50 of ∽3.5μM by FRET and ELISA) and in HEK293 cells (IC50 of ∽ 100μM by FACS/FRET). Cellular studies indicate a good correlation between the inhibitor's antiproliferative activity and the Runx1 expression level in the target cells.
