Designed to selectively remove lipoproteins from plasma or serum by batch procedure or column chromatography.

EMD Millipore Calbiochem™ PHM-L LIPOSORB™ Absorbent has low solubility good chemical stability.

  • Antibody content coagulation factors remain intact
  • Improved serum or plasma stability
  • Low solubility in most solvents has good chemical stability in acids bases
  • Resistant to enzymatic degradation to activation of coagulation factors
  • Heat stable, sterilized by autoclaving (120°C) without altering its binding capacity
  • High capacity with no volume limitation is simple to use without expensive apparatus
  • One gram of absorbent is sufficient to remove lipids from 25mL of serum or ascites
