Description

The CAMPYLOBACTER CHEK™ test is an enzyme immunoassay for the qualitative detection of a Campylobacter-specific antigen in human fecal specimens. Developed and Manufactured by TECHLAB, Inc.

  • Better accuracy and faster turn-around-time compared to culture
  • With a positive predictive value (PPV) of 100%, positive results are closely correlated with infection
  • Results in ∼1 hour.
  • Detects C. jejuni, C. coli, C. upsaliensis, and C. lari
  • Specimen Type:
    • Fresh or frozen unpreserved fecal specimen
    • Fecal specimen preserved in transport media (Cary Blair or C&S)
