Z-Leu-Arg-AMC is a fluorogenic peptide substrate for assaying cysteine proteases such as cathepsin K. It consists of a carboxybenzoyl (Z)-protected leucyl-arginine linked to 7-amido-4-methylcoumarin (AMC); enzymatic cleavage releases fluorescent AMC for sensitive kinetic measurements. Supplied as a solid or as a 10 mM solution in DMSO for research use only.
- Sensitive fluorogenic reporter released on protease-mediated cleavage.
- Suitable for cathepsin K and other cysteine protease activity assays.
- High reported purity for consistent, reproducible results.
- Available as solid or pre-prepared DMSO solution for flexible use.
- Soluble in DMSO; handle and store according to standard reagent recommendations.
