Carnauba wax
Description
Carnauba wax is used as a glazing agent, bulking agent, acidity regulator and tablet-coating agent. It is also used in automobile waxes, shoe polishes, dental floss and food products such as sweets, instrument polishes, floor, furniture waxes, polishes and paper coatings. It serves as the main ingredient in surfboard wax. Further, it is also used as a mold release agent to produce fiber-reinforced plastics.
