Description

The male betta has been used extensively in behavioral studies.

Males are brightly colored with long, flowing fins. The female is not as brightly colored and has smaller fins. Male bettas will fight other male bettas and therefore must be kept separate. All tropical species are hand-selected for size and health, for years of enjoyment.
