The Instech C10PU-MCA1459 is a specialized catheter designed for mouse carotid artery access. It features a two-piece polyurethane construction that transitions from a delicate 1Fr distal tip to a 2Fr proximal end, ensuring an ideal fit with 25-gauge (25ga) connectors such as Vascular Access Buttons™ or PinPorts™. This design is optimized for reliable blood sampling or infusion while minimizing vessel trauma through its soft tubing and square tip. A silicone collar is positioned 0.9 cm from the tip to provide secure anchoring within the vessel, and the entire assembly is EtO sterilized and individually packaged to maintain surgical-grade standards.
