CD14-FITC is a monoclonal antibody conjugated to fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) that is used for the detection of human CD14 by flow cytometry. CD14 is a 55 kDa glycoprotein expressed on the surface of monocytes, macrophages and neutrophils. This antibody reacts with most peripheral blood monocytes and macrophages but not with granulocytes. CD14-FITC can be used to study monocyte differentiation, maturation and activation. This antibody is supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.4, containing 0.09% sodium azide and 0.2% gelatin.
