CD14-FITC is a monoclonal antibody conjugated to fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) that is used for the detection of human CD14 by flow cytometry. CD14 is a 55 kDa glycoprotein expressed on the surface of monocytes, macrophages and neutrophils. This antibody reacts with most peripheral blood monocytes and macrophages but not with granulocytes. It can be used for studies of monocyte maturation and macrophage differentiation. The recommended usage is 5-10 μL per test, with 100 μL whole blood. It is supplied as a liquid in 0.5 mL containing sodium azide.
