The CD33 Antibody is a mouse monoclonal antibody that recognizes human CD33, also known as Siglec-3. CD33 is a transmembrane receptor expressed on cells of myeloid lineage including monocytes, granulocytes, myeloid progenitor cells, and myeloid leukemias. This antibody is useful for studying CD33 expression and for targeting CD33+ cells. It is available conjugated to fluorochromes like PE, APC, and Alexa Fluor, or as purified antibody. Recommended applications include flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, and cell sorting. The antibody is clone WM53 and has been validated for flow cytometry.
