The Caprico CD5 (IFluor488) Antibody is a mouse monoclonal antibody that targets human CD5. It is conjugated to IFluor488, a green fluorescent dye, and is suitable for flow cytometry, immunofluorescence microscopy, and immunohistochemistry assays. This antibody recognizes the extracellular domain of CD5 and binds both native and denatured forms. CD5 is a 67kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on thymocytes, T cells, and a subset of B cells. It functions as a negative regulator of T and B cell receptor signaling. This antibody can be used for analyzing CD5 expression on leukocytes and is recommended for detection of T cells, B-1a cells, and malignancies of T or B cell origin.
