The CD59 FITC Antibody from Caprico Biotechnologies is a fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) conjugated monoclonal antibody that recognizes human CD59. CD59 is a membrane complement regulatory protein that inhibits the formation of the membrane attack complex (MAC) and protects cells from complement-mediated lysis. This antibody can be used in flow cytometry, immunofluorescence microscopy, and other assays to detect CD59 expression on the surface of cells. The antibody is supplied as 100 tests in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 0.2% BSA. Recommended applications include flow cytometry analysis of CD59 expression on human lymphocytes, monocytes, granulocytes, and cell lines.
