The Caprico CD8 PE Antibody is a mouse monoclonal antibody that specifically binds to human CD8. It is conjugated to R-phycoerythrin (PE) and is suitable for flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence. This antibody recognizes the 32-34 kDa alpha chain of CD8, also known as CD8a. CD8 is expressed on cytotoxic T cells and acts as a co-receptor in T cell activation. This antibody can be used to identify cytotoxic T lymphocytes and is recommended for use with compatible anti-CD3 antibodies. The immunogen is human thymocytes and leukocytes. This product is purified from ascites fluid and supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.4, containing 0.2% BSA and 0.09% sodium azide.
