The CapricoBio CD81 PE Antibody is a mouse monoclonal antibody that recognizes human CD81. It is conjugated to R-phycoerythrin (PE) and is suitable for flow cytometry, immunofluorescence microscopy and ELISA. This antibody detects CD81, also known as TAPA-1, a 25 kDa tetraspanin protein expressed on the surface of B cells, T cells, dendritic cells, endothelial cells, and hepatocytes. It plays a role in adhesion, morphology, activation, proliferation and mobility of immune cells. This antibody can be used to study CD81 expression and function. The immunogen is a recombinant protein corresponding to amino acids 113-201 of human CD81.
