The Caprico CD9 FITC Antibody is a fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) conjugated monoclonal antibody that recognizes human CD9. CD9 is a 24-25 kDa cell surface glycoprotein that belongs to the tetraspanin superfamily. It is expressed on a variety of cell types including platelets, B cells, T cells, monocytes, granulocytes, pre-B cells, and hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells. CD9 plays a role in cell adhesion, migration, proliferation, and activation. This antibody is recommended for detection of CD9 protein expression in flow cytometry and immunofluorescence. The immunogen is a recombinant human CD9 extracellular domain protein.
