Description

Cefepime is a fourth generation cephalosporin antibiotic effective against gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria.

It is resistant to a variety of Beta-lactamases, and is effective against some naturally resistant bacterial species such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, and Streptococcus pneumoniae.
