Hydroxylurasidone is the most abundant metabolite of lurasidone in urine. Lurasidone, marketed under the trade name Latuda™, is a new atypical antipsychotic developed for the treatment of schizophrenia and episodes of depression in adults with bipolar disorder (manic depression).
