These synthetic cathinones offer recreational uses that mimic the effects of illegal drugs such as cocaine, methamphetamine, and LSD. An internal standard suitable for quantification of N-Ethylpentylone in synthetic cathinone testing methods by LC/MS or GC/MS applications in forensic analysis, urine drug testing, or clinical toxicology.
