Description
A useful oxidant for organic synthesis. This chemical is also useful for the synthesis of quinoxaline derivatives which are useful as DNA cleaving agents, dyes, and organic semiconductors. Used to release organic ligands from metal carbonyls. Whereby the metal is oxidized, Carbon monoxide is produced, and the organic ligand is released.
