Ginkgo’s CFPS Ready96 consists of Ginkgo’s premier CFPS system, reformatted to meet high-throughput screening needs. Reactions are pre-mixed and aliquoted into a 96 well plate. The user must simply add DNA and water, and reactions will produce target protein within hours. The kit is an E. coli transcription/translation system optimized to produce proteins from a T7 RNA Polymerase promoter. Reactions consist of a bacterial cell lysate and a reagent mix that contain all components required for protein production. Each plate enables 96 reactions of 20 µL. Of this volume, 12 µL are pre-aliquotted, and the user supplies the remaining 8 µL of DNA, water, and any other desired reagents. Includes one (1) plate. Storage at -80° C.
