Supplier: Bachem 4107364.1000
a-Synuclein Binding Peptide Trifluoroacetate, Ac-Lys-Asp-Gly-Ile-Val-Asn-Gly-Val-Lys-Ala-NH2, 2243207-00-1, C45H80N14O14, Mr 1041.20, 1mg. Cheruvara and coworkers conducted a single step selection followed by two rounds of competition selection protein-fragment complementation assay (PCA) in order to derive a-synuclein (a-syn) binders capable of inhibiting aggregation. They isolated a 10-residue peptide antagonist, corresponding to the sequence of a-synuclein binding peptide that potently inhibits a-synuclein aggregation and associated toxicity at 1:1 stoichiometry.
