Supplier: Medchemexpress LLC HY15822110MG
Chondroitin sulfate methacryloyl (CSMA) is a methacrylated derivative of chondroitin sulfate developed for photocrosslinkable hydrogel formation and 3D bioprinting. It is biocompatible, forms fibrous hydrogels under photoinitiation, and the degree of methacrylation enables tuning of mechanical strength, swelling behavior, and enzymatic degradability. Supplied as a white to off-white powder; soluble in water (≈20 mg/mL with sonication). Store powder at -20 °C.
- Biocompatible methacrylated polysaccharide suitable for hydrogel scaffolds.
- Photocrosslinkable for rapid curing with appropriate photoinitiators.
- Degree of methacrylation tunable to adjust mechanics and degradation.
- Soluble in water with sonication for solution preparation.
- Stable as a powder at -20 °C for long-term storage.
