Description

Ciprofloxacin is a second generation fluoroquinolone antibiotic targeting a broad-spectrum of bacteria and mycoplasma.

It is nalidixic acid analog and has few known resistant strains. Ciprofloxacin is also effective as a plant fungicide and is sparingly soluble in water.
