(+/-)-Cloprostenol is a synthetic water-soluble prostaglandin F2α analog that can terminate the pregnancies of rats and hamsters 200 times more potently than PGF2α. Potent agonist of the FP receptor PTGFR (EC50=0.84 nM), optically active, and a potent luteolytic agent in rats and hamsters. Also able to act as an agonist at other prostanoid receptors. Provided as 1 mg of dry powder. These highly purified, pre-validated control ligands have been used to qualify our InCELL Hunter, PathHunter and cAMP Hunter cell lines as well as our Assay Ready Kits.
