It has an electrostatic shield between primary and secondary windings to minimize line noise interference. This general purpose transformer steps down 120V AC to 14V AC for powering low voltage devices. It has a steel enclosure with knockouts and is UL listed. The transformer measures 5 x 4 x 3 inches and weighs 4 pounds.
