The B-36 CO2 incubator is frequently used for medical, animal, cosmetic, food and agricutural research applications such as cell and tissue culture, bacterial growth, and production of enzymes or antibiotics. Interior of #304-4 stainless steel, exterior of smooth white galvanized steel with foamed-in-place non-CFC insulation. Additive CO2 with infrared (IR) sensor up to 10%. An ultrasonic humidifier and advanced sensor provides additive humidity (dehum optional). Six stainless steel wire shelves adjustable in ½” increments. Self-contained air-cooled condensing unit with hot gas bypass system for continuous compressor operation extends life, ensuring precise temperature control by alternately cycling refrigerant and hot gas to coil; this also prolongs life of compressor, and eliminates risk of ice build up in coil.
