The B3600 CO2 incubator is frequently used for medical, animal, cosmetic, food and agricutural research applications such as cell and tissue culture, bacterial growth, and production of enzymes or antibiotics. Interior of #304-4 stainless steel, exterior of smooth white galvanized steel with foamed-in-place non-CFC insulation. Additive CO2 with infrared (IR) sensor up to 10%. An ultrasonic humidifier and advanced sensor provides additive humidity (dehum optional). Six stainless steel wire shelves adjustable in ½” increments. Self-contained air-cooled condensing unit with hot gas bypass system for continuous compressor operation extends life, ensuring precise temperature control by alternately cycling refrigerant and hot gas to coil; this also prolongs life of compressor, and eliminates risk of ice build up in coil.
