Forceps with a tying platform are designed to grasp, and manipulate tissues or objects during surgical procedures. They flat tying platform is near the tips where suture can be tied. This gives you a stable area for suturing or ligating. The slender handles are textured for a firm grip, and the hole patterns in the handle makes the instrument incredibly lightweight. All three sizes are made of titanium, which is 40% lighter than stainless steel. Titanium is 100% non-corrosive, great for researchers doing seawater procedures.
