Perform microwave-heated reactions in glass vials secured by 20mm aluminum seals with 0.125-inch thick, blue PTFE / white silicone septa. Glass vials are made from heavy-wall, Type I, Class A borosilicate for its high resistance to both chemicals and thermal shock. Microwave reaction vials are designed to withstand pressures up to 300 PSI (20 bars). PTFE-coated stir bars are used to provide continuous stirring and even heating during reactions.Chemglass microwave vials come complete with vials, septa and stir bars packed for convenience, cleanliness and protection in white corrugated cartons with removable trays of ten vials each.
