Condensers aid in removing moisture from exhaust gases which can clog filters. They also help minimize loss of material from the bioreactor due to evaporation during fermentation. Glass condensers are available in bulb and coil styles and are more economical than stainless steel. Stainless steel condensers consist of 4 components: 1. Jacketed condenser body with two 1/4-inch hose connections 2. Internal stainless steel baffle 3. 90o gas outlet tube with 1/4-inch hose connection 3. Threaded compression nut. Stainless steel components manufactured from 316L with an electropolished surface finish of 20Ra or better.
