Supplier: Contec CONTCOCLAMT
Description
Contec Contamination Control Assessment (CCA) provides tailored recommendations for cleanroom operations, focusing on product suitability and cost-cutting opportunities. Select from three types of assessments:
- CCA Virtual Consult: Led by one or more of our Technical Services Group (TSG) experts conducting discussions and interviews with key personnel.
- CCA Remote Assessment: Utilizes video technology with our TSG experts to obtain a comprehensive review of cleanroom environments and processes.
- CCA Onsite Assessment: Involves a detailed, hands-on evaluation of the cleanroom operations and direct interaction with the team and one of our TSG experts.
Steps to a Successful Contamination Control Assessment:
- On-site walk-through - A pre-assessment call is recommended to understand customer objectives, challenges, and specific needs:
- Focused review of cleaning and disinfection process, consumables used in the cleanrooms, and supporting clean areas. Review will assess the physical conditions and layout of the cleanroom.
- Evaluating the procedures and protocols in place for contamination control. Review the cleaning and disinfection products currently in use.
- Observing operations in the cleanrooms and supporting clean areas conducted by Contec industry experts. Involving essential customer personnel including operations managers, production managers, quality assurance managers, contamination control engineers, and process engineers or microbiologists.
- Formal Written Report - Contec will issue a formal report approximately three weeks following the completion of each facility review. The report will contain:
- Required performance characteristics for each process and environment.
- Product recommendations tailored to improve contamination control.
- Other observations and related recommendations to enhance overall cleanroom operations.
Benefits of a Contamination Control Assessment:
- Helps identify areas where costs can be reduced without compromising contamination control standards.
- Provides actionable solutions to issues observed during the assessment, helping to resolve existing problems.
- Offers suggestions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of cleaning processes, leading to better contamination control.
- Ensures the latest and most effective contamination control practices are being followed, keeping the cleanroom operations up to industry standards.
The average CCA takes approximately two hours to complete, making it a small time investment with potentially significant results. Typical outcomes include the identification of cost savings opportunities, solutions to identified problems, recommendations for improved cleaning operations, and a review of best practices. Contec looks forward to providing this level of technical support to its customers.
