Promotes cellular attachment, spreading, and proliferation on tissue-culture surfaces. Corning™ Fibronectin, Human can be used as an additive to serum-free culture media.

Corning extracellular matrices (ECMs) enable researchers to mimic in vivo environments for 2D and 3D cell culture applications.

The principal functions of fibronectin appear to be in cellular migration during wound healing and development, regulation of cell growth and differentiation, and haemostasis/thrombosis.
