Brainxell Inc Terminally differentiated human cortical glutamatergic neurons; Derived from iPSC line WC-30, male. No known neurological or psychiatric disorders. Contents: 1 vial of ≥1x10^6 viable cryopreserved cells

Supplier: Brainxell Inc BX0300301M

Marker Expression: Cortical Glutamatergic Neurons (BX-0300) have high neuronal purity (>80%) and comprise predominantly excitatory neurons. Labeling with the pan-neuronal marker MAP2 (red) highlights the neuronal purity of these cells. Labeling with the glutamatergic-specific marker FOXP2 indicates the overwhelming presence of glutamatergic neurons. Function: Cortical Glutamatergic Neurons exhibit pronounced electrophysiological activity after two weeks in culture, as demonstrated by multi-electrode array (MEA) recordings. Related diseases: Alzheimer’s & Huntington’s Disease. Primary neurotransmitter released: Glutamate
