Creatinine values are determined to estimate the glomerular filtration rate, an indicator of kidney status. Method: DiaSys Creatinine Jaffe FS is based on the kinetic Jaffé method without deproteinization. The reagent is a liquid-stable kinetic test with a wide measuring range and freedom from lipemia and hemoglobin interference. Reagent 1 contains TRIS, Mg2+, ATP and NAD, reagent 2 contains Mg2+, Hexokinase and Glucose-6-Phospatedehydrogenase. Reagents must be stored refrigerated.
