Diagnostic reagent for quantitative in vitro determination of creatinine in animal serum, heparin plasma or urine on photometric systems. For veterinary or research use only. Creatinine values are determined to estimate the glomerular filtration rate, an indicator of kidney status. Method: DiaSys Creatinine Jaffe FS is based on the kinetic Jaffé method without deproteinization. The reagent is a liquid-stable kinetic test with a wide measuring range and freedom from lipemia and hemoglobin interference. Reagent 1 contains TRIS, Mg2+, ATP and NAD, reagent 2 contains Mg2+, Hexokinase and Glucose-6-Phospatedehydrogenase. Reagents must be stored refrigerated.
