The Alkali Scientific CryoFreeze™ 12 Place Cell Freezing Container, when used in a –80°C freezer, delivers an alcohol free cooling rate of approximately –1°C per minute, making it ideal for the cryopreservation of most cell types and cell lines. The system is engineered with high density polyethylene foam and an alloy based core to ensure uniform heat removal and consistent, reproducible freezing results. Its non absorbent foam construction does not alter the freezer environment, helping protect other stored samples. Due to its low thermal mass, the container quickly equilibrates back to room temperature once removed from the freezer. Designed to hold 12 standard 1.0–2.0 mL cryogenic vials in a radial layout that ensures equal freezing rates, it also features numbered vial positions for easy tracking, along with a beveled easy grip lid for secure handling and quick sample access.
