Description

Recommended for the preservation of microorganisms by freezing. It is formulated using 10% glycerol.

  • High concentration of glycerol acts to prevent cell damage in the harsh environment of sub-zero temperatures
  • The cleaned, acid-washed beads are of porous nature allowing microorganisms to readily adhere to the bead surface
  • Offers a simple, safe, and convenient way to store organisms at ultra low temperatures for future use
  • Caps are ergonomically designed to feature large ridges for easy opening. Threads are located on the outside of the vial to reduce the chance of contamination
  • Available formulas include Skim Milk or Brucella Broth for the purpose of growth and long term viability of your organism
  • Ready-to-use media with cryo-preservatives saves you time and expense of preparing the media yourself
  • Each vial has a blank white area for written identification. Additionally, each box comes with a moisture-proof card to record the contents of individual vials
