CTL-Test(TM) Medium CTL-Test(TM) Medium has been formulated to permit direct ex vivo testing of PBMC in T cell cytokine assays (ELISPOT, ELISA, CBA, CPA), while showing an equal or better performance than pre-screened, non-mitogenic serum batches. CTL-Test(TM) Medium contains injection grade water supplemented with amino acids, vitamins, inorganic salts, and human serum albumin (HSA) in a proprietary composition to provide a nutritionally complete and balanced environment for the PBMC. A variant of this medium, CTL-Test B(TM), has been specially formulated for B cell ELISPOT assays. CTL-Test(TM) Medium is available in 100ml or 500ml bottles. The 100ml bottles are convenient for average-sized experiments, avoiding the need for sterile filtration, saving the cost of filters. Each batch of CTL-Test(TM) Medium is thoroughly tested for an equally high performance in ELISPOT assays as the previous batches, in addition to standard quality assurance procedures.
